M/Y BINTADOR 50m Super yacht by Tankoa
The 49.9m Bintador yacht was built in 2019 by Tankoa. She features an exterior design by Francesco Paszkowski and an interior by Francesco Paszkowski. She cruises at 14.0 kn and reaches a top speed of 18.0 kn.
Known as HULL S501 #2, 49.9m/163.8’ft BINTADOR was developed in collaboration with her Owner and features some significant differences to the first hull, most notably her hybrid propulsion package but also an Owner’s galley on the main deck, a foredeck touch-n’-go helipad with storage for five e-bikes and a five-cabin layout that places the Master suite on the main deck and the four remaining guest cabins on the lower deck.
The all-aluminium motor yacht is compliant with Lloyd’s MCA LY3 standards and has exterior styling from Francesco Paszkowski Design, who also worked in collaboration with Margherita Casprini to create her interiors.
The lower deck will be furnished with a beach club and gym, in addition to the guest accommodation, and the main deck has a salon and formal dining room, with the Master suite equipped with an office and lounge with fold-down side-terraces. The upper deck comes with a skylounge, which leads out onto an alfresco dining and lounging area. Sunbeds and additional seating are placed forward, while up on the flybridge visitors will find a tempting Jacuzzi as well as sunbeds, sofas, chaise loungers and a bar.
Using a pair of MTU 8V 4000 M54 engines, she can draw on a fuel capacity of 57,300 litres. Diesel-Electric Mode (DEM) produces speeds of up to 10.6 knots and a range of 4,900 nautical miles.
Hybrid Mode creates speeds of 12 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles, with all electrical power generated by the two main engine shafts.
Traditional Mode uses both diesel engines and a diesel generator for speeds of 16.5 knots, while Booster Mode reaches a top speed of 18 knots by using the main engines and generators to supply the electric engines.
Tankoa Yachts has announced that its second hull in the 50-metre series, hybrid luxury yacht BINTA D’OR, will be making her public debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2019.
